Session Notes:

Considering that manny of us hadn't played together in over 20 years and there was no rehersal, the result is pretty amazing. Most of all we just had a great time. (I tell you though, with a little practice these guys would make one hell of a band!)

When I recorded the session I used a studio quality Tascam cassette recorder with a PA feed on one side and an open room mic on the other. The balance was terrible, but I crossed mixed the two sides and boosted some bass and treble here and there to try and bring out the instruments that weren't mic'd. The result is...well....it's not great, but it is whole hell of a lot better than any of the original Ox tapes I have.

These first cuts are in Quicktime format. I used a Q-Sound codec to reduce the orignal files but they're still large. (Mustang Sally was over 30MB and is now 2.5). I think MP3 reduces even more but my encoder doesn't seem to be working properly so I'll keep working on it, but I wanted to get these cuts out there in case anyone had the patience to download them.
